This unit is in the rear of a larger home. It has its own exterior entrance, and it is intended for completely independent living. It is divided from the main home by an interior door which locks on both sides, duplex-style. There are no shared spaces between the apartment and the main home, with the exception of that shared wall. Your duplex neighbors are quiet and respectful.

HOME AMENITITES:

- Fully stocked kitchen including a giant fridge, hotplates, very large microwave, toaster oven, blender, grill, crock pot, etc. Cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, etc. are provided.
- Separate bedroom nook, complete with queen-sized bed, workspace, and quasi-walk-in closet.
- The bathroom is large and comfortable, with a full-sized shower.

OUTDOOR SPACES AND OTHER FEATURES:

- Outdoor amenities include a gated driveway, wrap-around large yard, a dedicated small patio with bistro set for your exclusive use, as well as a communal patio with double lounger, umbrella table, and barbecue grill for entertaining.

- There is a washer/dryer in the laundry room onsite, shared by all tenants on the property, accessed via separate entrance.

- Super-fast fiber WiFi from AT&T is included along with other bills (electric, sewage, trash, etc.)

NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES:

This part of Chula Vista is super-close to downtown San Diego. In addition to being close to many hospitals and other places of work, you will also be a:

~15-minute drive from downtown San Diego and the exciting Gaslamp district!
~15 minute drive from Coronado island, one of San Diego's most famous and beautiful beach spots, and 20 minutes from Imperial Beach.
~15 minute drive from trendy neighborhoods such as North Park, Hillcrest, University Heights, and other central San Diego hotspots.
~ 8 minute drive from southwestern college.

Additionally, the neighborhood of the home (downtown Chula Vista) is walkable and convenient. Within a 10-minute walk you'll find a library, park, rec center, community lap pool, and several gyms, including a free outdoor gym right next to the house! Right down the street are countless restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a "hopping" brewery scene (pun intended! ;-)) There is very active nightlife right down the street, and yet the house is super-quiet and feels incredibly safe. Neighbors are also great.

LOGISTICAL DETAILS:

- Move-in available immediately.
- Looking for an initial commitment of 3-6 months, which can be extended if there is a longer-term fit.
- This unit is intended for use by only one or two adult.
- Pets: No pets, with the possible exception of very quiet, low-energy indoor dogs, or outdoor or declawed indoor cats. If you have a very chill, relaxed animal, this might work. However, If you have a normal, vivacious pup or kitten, as much as it pains me because I love animals, it's probably not a fit.
- Smoking: No smoking of any substance on property.
- Drugs: No hard drugs, and would prefer no cannabis. Occasional edibles are okay (it's California, after all), but not as a lifestyle, please.
- Cost: Price for this unit is $1800/month, fully furnished, fully stocked, all bills paid.
